The only real big plus to staying there was that they offered smoking rooms, and they were close to the jazz festival that was going on.
The set up of using the key card to turn on the lights, A/C, was hard to find the slot on the wall in complete darkness.
Nice, clean, modern rooms, location was fantastic (right next to the greenmarket square). Excellent and very helpful (and extremely pleasant) staff.
Large room, quiet, fully self controlled airconditioning, difficult to find in Cape Town. Big bath towels, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful.
No fridge in the room.
The staff was very friendly, especially reception. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and the rooms are very nice. A bonus is the 30 minute free internet. Very central.
The hotel is a bit difficult to find. We experienced some problems with the breakfast and getting out of the parking can be timely.
It is in the heart of Cape Town which make shopping and viewing excalent. Most places are in walking distances and it is surrounded by restaurants.
It offers me what I expected in terms of cleanliness, comfort and service.
A king-size duvet on the bed will be appreciated - it's too small for 2 people.
White linen is always comfortable for me and helps me relax when i am in a hotel.
The taxis that are called from reception took a long time to arrive, I became late for a meeting.
A very good one and we have to point up mainly the rich and tasteful breakfasts
We would like to get at the counter some better enlarged maps of the town and thr gardens route on top of the bad commercial ones
It was located very centrally, and for our purpose it was exactly what we needed.
In general everything was perfect, however, I feel the cost (R50,00 per day) for the parking garage is a bit to much and should be adjusted.
1/2 hour free internet.b/f is served @6.30 am for safari people.eventhough official time is 7 am.sered lavish B/f...rooms were tidy & clean.loved the snow white sheets..spacious room.. Flea market for cultural ethnic.products is walking distance..also shops for quality shopping and good dinining near by..
there were 2 minor..issues..staff came and solved it..its negligible.but prefer restaurent in the hotel itself..for room service..after days tour it is tiresome to walk around to choose food..
Nice big room with everything you need, comfotable; very good breakfast, good information about tours
Tours must be paid in the tourbus, so take enough money with you = it would be nice, if this information could give the customer from the reception where the tour was booked
Very friendly nice and central well presented and maintained
Very modern, clean and cosy hotel
Very little amount of free wifi. The wifi was a bit expensive.
Helpful kind staff, central safe location, great rooms
everything was fine.
the parking facility. i did not free as, everytime i was not able to just jump in and go or come in and park. there was always someone who had to park the car and return the car. city lodge was my first preference, as i could come in and go out when ever, without producing any pink slips.
